Hey Ahmed, thanks for joining us here on TD Helps. We are happy to see you are looking to join our TD Family and would be more than happy to help!
If you are looking to open an account with TD Bank, we'd like to share with you the many different types of accounts TD Bank has to offer. Please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd to view our Checking Account products or check out our Checking Selector Tool: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best Savings account for your needs.
Once you have decided on the account(s) that best fits your needs, when you visit your local TD Store to open the account, all you would need to bring with you is your Social Security number and your valid photo ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport). Please note, you will need to make an initial deposit to the account you selected. There would not be a minimum requirement to open the account; however, some accounts have requirements in order to have certain fees waived. We would encourage you to review the links above prior to visiting a Store. For hours and locations near you, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Additionally, you may also open the account via the internet by clicking on the "Open Account" box which will be listed at the bottom of each account details. To get started, you'll need the following: Your Social Security number and ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport). To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit.
If you prefer to open it over the phone, please call Customer Service at 1-888-751-9000, available 24/7, and we will be happy to help you open the account. Once the account is opened, you will have 30 days to make your first deposit.
If you are looking to open a TD Credit Card, we'd like to share with you the different types of Credit Cards TD Bank has available that you may be interested in. Please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1bgHTLy for more information and the rewards each card has to offer.
Once you've decided on the right card for you, there are a couple of ways for you to apply for a TD Bank Credit Card. Your first option is to call us at 1-888-561-8861 and speak with one of our dedicated Credit Card Specialists. The next option you would have is to apply online. If you would like to apply online, you may use the Apply Online buttons at the link above to start your application. Please keep in mind that if you are not currently a TD Bank customer or did not receive a Credit Card offer, you would have to step into a TD Bank location for further assistance.
After you apply for the TD Bank Credit Card of your choice, you may check the status of your Credit Card Application by contacting our Credit Card Department, 24/7, using the number mentioned above and a Specialist would be happy to help you. You may also visit us at any TD Bank Store during lobby hours for assistance.
Additionally, you will receive a decision from our Credit Card Department via mail within 7-10 business days after the application was submitted.
We hope the information provided helps, Ahmed. Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions and have a wonderful weekend.
