Welcome to the TD Helps Community, Randy. We're glad to guide you in the right direction today.
You'll be glad to know that we can convert your current checking account to another type of checking account with no interruption to your current account number or debit card. We're able to do so as long as you keep the same type of product that you had.
TD Bank offers several different types of checking accounts, suited for different needs. We invite you to view our other checking account types here: https://go.td.com/2aHjRCr. We recommend comparing the current requirements of your account with the others listed to find the one which best fits you. We can also offer you our convenient Checking Account Selector, which can be found at https://go.td.com/1vW1xnU.
To change your account type, we'd be happy to be of assistance with information via phone. Our knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives are available 24/7 at 888-751-9000, and can assist you in comparing accounts and helping you with a switch.
You're also welcome to send us a Secured Message to change your account type. To do so, please log in at https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you have logged in, locate the Customer Service tab at the top right, and then click on Send a Message. Please submit your inquiry including your account number and the type of account you're requesting, and a friendly Representative will respond shortly.
Or if you're nearby, you're always invited to any local TD Bank Store where a Representative can provide help. Please see https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR for a listing of locations and hours near you.
Thanks for writing in and please take care.
