Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Misal.
We understand that sometimes individual banking needs change. We'd like to take the opportunity to share our Savings Selector Tool that can be viewed here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM. We also recommend taking a look at our Finance 101 page that can be found here: http://bit.ly/1dHULN9. The page has great tips for saving on a variety of budgets that may help you in the future.
If you still wish to close your account, you can visit a TD Store during lobby hours or, if your account is at a zero balance you may call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or send a secure message via Online Banking.
In order to send a secure message you must first be enrolled in Online Banking and to start the process, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number and email address. Once enrolled, you may send a secure message by selecting "Send a secure message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center." Please note that your account must be at a zero balance in order to close it via secure message and over the telephone.
Thanks again for visiting us today and please stop by again anytime. We hope this has been helpful!
