Due to minimum balance issues, I'd like to close my Savings Account while keeping my Checking Account open. I followed the example set by other similar questions, and tried to get everything done online. After making sure there weren't any funds left in my Savings Account, I sent a secure message to Customer Service (since that was the most applicable tab I could find for my situation). However, I then received an email saying that my Checking Account statement was ready, and that this statement had been processed at my request. I'd like to close my Savings Account as quickly as possible to avoid any fees for insufficient minimum balance. What should I do?
