Thanks for reaching out to us today Thomas! We'd be happy to provide you with ways to deposit funds into another account.
It sounds like you are inquiring about transferring funds via ACH from your TD account to your daughter's account. If so, we are happy to inform you that with our Person-to-Person Payment feature, you are able to transfer funds to a family or friend, whether they bank with TD Bank or with another Financial Institution, anywhere within the US. For additional information on this feature please check out: http://bit.ly/1cz3aim.
Please note, in order to be eligible to use the Person-to-Person payment service, you must have a United States address, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security number and a valid unique email address. You must also be enrolled for Online Banking and be using a TD Bank Checking or Money Market account for the transfer.
In order to use Person-to-Person Payments, first you'll have to be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are already enrolled, please click here to sign onto your Online Banking: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you have not enrolled, no worries- we'd be happy to help!
If you have a TD ATM/Debit Card and Social Security number you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Then, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Next, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
Once you're enrolled and logged in, you may click on the tab at the top of the page titled "Person-to-Person Payments." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment!
Please note that Person-to-Person Payments can only be conducted to or from a U.S. account in U.S. currency only. They can only be made from an Eligible Transaction Account; for example, personal Checking, Money Market or Savings accounts are usually allowed, with you as a signer on the account. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on this payment method and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD. If you have any difficulties, please contact our Banking Specialists for assistance 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note, the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
Also, please keep in mind that there are limits to the amount you may send. To locate your Person-to-Person payments limits, please select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab, and then click on the "Send Money" tab. After you select the contact you wish to send funds to, a "View Limits" link will appear beside the "Amount" field. If you click on that link, a side window will pop up showing you your transfer amount limits.
If the amount you are looking to send exceeds your limit, you may wish to visit your local TD Store (http://bit.ly/TDStores) to initiate a wire transfer.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind also that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other Financial Institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire.
Please note, there are fees associated with the mentioned services. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We hope this helps and if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to let us know, Thomas. Enjoy the rest of your day!
