Great to have you here on TD Helps, Ana and thanks for the question! We're glad to assist.
Seeing that you're writing in to us from Toronto, Ana, we invite you to take a look at this page: http://bit.ly/1wYj531. Since you've reached TD Bank in the US, you may like to refer to the answer provided by our friend Marie-Josée at TD Canada Trust. For other questions you may have, feel free to reply to the above post, or write a new question here: http://bit.ly/1kD3iFr.
We'd also like to provide a little information for you, just in case you are referring to an account you previously held with TD Bank US. Please see the article listed here: http://1.usa.gov/1ED20S9, which reviews information about abandoned or unclaimed accounts in the US. Please keep in mind that once an account becomes dormant, it can be turned over to the State in which the account was opened after a 3 or 5 years of no activity, depending on your location.
Please note that if this has occurred with your account, you'll be able to contact the State to claim the funds. There is no time limit to do this. You may be able to locate the contact information via your State's website, or you're welcome to contact us and we'll be able to provide that info over the phone. We can be reached 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or feel free to stop in at any TD Bank Store if you'll be in the States. We're available at these locations: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this is helpful, Ana and best of luck to you with this! Enjoy your weekend.
