Welcome to TD Helps, Irene. We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Online Banking and we'd be happy to help.
If you are having trouble logging, we suggest first to ensure that your Caps Lock is off. Though your username is not case sensitive, your password is! If this doesn't work, we recommend resetting your password by selecting "Trouble Logging In" beneath the password field. Online Banking will then ask you to select your account type from the drop down menu, type in your user name and the last four numbers of your Social Security number. When you select "Continue," the website will prompt you to answer two of the security questions that you created when you first enrolled for Online Banking. Once complete, the website will ask you to change your password. When creating your new password, here a few tips we can share with you:
Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically, ideally every 90 days
If that does not help, don't worry! Our Digital Banking Specialists are available 24/7 to assist you with logging back in. You can call us at 800-493-7562 for assistance. If you prefer to sit with a Representative, you may visit your nearest TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. For Store hours and locations, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Irene and let us know if you have any further questions.
