I have a TD Canada customer for over a year now and recently opened a TD NA checking account. I want to use my mobile app to deposit a US cheque into my TD NA account. The app said I need to be 90 days with TD, which I had more than 90 days with TD. Do they only count TD US? It is inconvenient for me to deposit the cheque if it is not possible thru the mobile app. I want to directly do the deposit to TD NA instead of indirectly (deposit in TD Canada and then do the transfer).

Thank you for sending your question to TD Helps today, Wadson.
Thank you so much for opening an account with TD Bank N.A. At this time, in order to be eligible, you must be a TD Bank N.A. deposit customer for at least 90 days or more and have at least one active checking, money market, or savings account. CDs, IRAs, and Passbook accounts are not eligible. Wadson, please take look here: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF for more information along with the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for TD Bank Mobile Deposit. If you have any additional inquiries, feel free to contact our Digital Banking Specialists at 800-493-7562 available 24/7.
You also have the option of mailing in your deposits. If you choose to do this, send your deposit to:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, ME 04243
Some tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit include:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
Since you have a TD Canada Trust account in addition to your TD Bank US account, you’ll also have the option of utilizing our Cross Border Banking feature. This will allow you to wire transfer funds from your TD Canada Trust account to your US account, free of charge. Please see: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4 for more information. You’re also welcome to call our Cross Border Banking team 24/7 at 877-700-2913.
We hope the information provided help. Let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great weekend!
