We both have TD checking accounts and we want to combine our accounts. Is that possible?
We both have direct deposit in our current accounts. Would one person need to change all of their direct deposit information? Would we still need to keep $100 minimum in our accounts, or would it have to be minimum of $200 since there is two people?

Hello, Scarlet! We're glad to have you on TD Helps and appreciate your interest in banking with us. Thanks for writing in!
Though you both cannot combine individual accounts, you're welcome to open a new joint Checking account; or add yourself to your boyfriend's account/vice-versa.Joint accounts can be opened in person at any TD Bank location. Please keep in mind that all account holders must be present for the account opening process.
When you visit, you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport. Please note that you must be 18 years of age or older in order to open an account.
We encourage you to review our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU to find an account which suits you and your boyfriend's needs.
Since you already have an existing personal account with TD Bank, you can always visit your nearest TD Bank during lobby hours to add your boyfriend as a joint owner. When being added as a joint owner to an account, the account details remain the same, but both parties will have access to the funds of the account.
When you're ready to visit a Store, you'll be happy to know that we offer convenient Store hours and locations. Please look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a listing in your area.
We hope this information is helpful, Scarlet! Let us know if you have any other questions.
