I want to make my sister the beneficiary of my checking account. She lives in Germany. What else is necessary besides name, address and date of birth?

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Karin. This is a great question, and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
To add your sister as a beneficiary to your account, we kindly ask that you both visit any TD Bank Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Please make sure you have the information of the individual(s) you are adding as the beneficiary, such as their name, address, social security number, and date of birth. Please note, to confirm your request, a new signature card must be signed by all current and new account owners. Additionally, we recommend reaching out to the store location you plan on visiting to determine if any additional information may be needed before you plan your visit.
If you have any additional questions, you may reach out to a Customer Service Representative, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-888-751-9000.
We hope this helps, Karin, and we hope you enjoy your weekend.
