Thanks for joining us on TD Helps today, Alberto.
To start, we'd like to share with you the many different types of accounts TD Bank has to offer. We invite you to take a look at the current Checking accounts that we have. Click here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and for a personalized recommendation click here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 to use or Checking Selector. You may also check out http://bit.ly/SavingsCmpre for Savings account details and comparisons, and our Savings Account Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF for a personalized account recommendation.
Once you have decided on the best account that fits your banking needs, to open a joint account, and since you mentioned you are from Argentina, we ask that you visit a TD Store during lobby hours for further assistance. Please be sure that all applicable signers are present for the account opening process and please bring your photo IDs, such as a Driver's License, State ID and/or a US passport with you to any TD Bank. To find a TD Bank near you, visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Since you'll be visiting a Store, as a non-US Resident you and the joint signer will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a valid non-US Passport or Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
If your joint signers are unable to visit a Store to open the joint account, you have the option of opening an individual account for now then adding them by visiting a TD Store once they are available.
For any additional question you may have, you may call us from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
We appreciate your consideration with us, Alberto and hope you have a great day!
