Thank you for joining us here at TD Helps, Crystal. You came to the right place for information.
You must go directly to your payer to initiate a direct deposit; however, we have a generic direct deposit form that will help provide your company with the necessary information they need in order to set up the direct deposit. This form cannot not be signed by a store representative nor copied to bank letterhead.
You may obtain a direct deposit form at your nearest TD Bank location during lobby hours, or print one from home by visiting our site here: https://go.td.com/2gFYSlD and selecting the link for the form needed.
If you are interested in opening a checking account to have your funds directly deposited into, we offer many different types of Checking accounts. Prior to opening an account we encourage you to view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you.
There are several ways to open an account with us: online, over the phone, or in person. Documents that you will need to open the account are the following: Your Social Security number and ID (driver's license, State ID, or Passport).
To open a Checking account, you may apply Online by visiting www.tdbank.com or click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit. To open the account over the phone, you may call us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and you will have up to 30 business days to make your initial deposit. Finally, you have the option of visiting us at your local TD Store to open an account. If you choose this option, you will need to make an initial deposit to the account you selected. There would not be a minimum requirement to open the account; however, some accounts have requirements in order to have certain fees waived. We would encourage you to review the link above prior to visiting a Store. For hours and locations near you, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Thanks again for your visit today! We welcome you back anytime with any other questions, and take care.
