Thanks for your interest in an account with TD, Rob. We'd be glad to help.

To take a look at the savings accounts we have to offer please visit http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9. Similarly, we have a Savings Selector Tool to help with an account recommendation here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Once you have decided on an account that you'd like to open, you are able to call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 and our Banking Specialists will be glad to help you open an account.
If you plan on taking a trip to the east coast, you are able to visit any TD Store to open an account. To take a look at TD Stores you'd like to visit please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Keep in mind that you will need a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) as well as your Social Security Number.
As you've mentioned that you are interested in depositing Canadian funds, please know that any transfers to your new TD account in any foreign currency will be first converted to U.S. Dollars before funds are available.
We hope to hear from you soon, Rob and have a good afternoon.
