We appreciate the visit to TD Helps, Melissa. We're sorry to hear that you haven't been receiving statements by mail, and would be glad to help you get these electronically.
Paperless statements are safer, faster, and greener than paper statements and also save the environment. We are happy to provide the steps on how to set this up!
In order to enroll for paperless statements, you must first be enrolled for Online Banking. If you have an ATM/Debit Card and U.S. Social Security number you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
If you are having difficulties setting this up, you can call our Digital Banking Specialists at 800-493-7562. After account verification, our Specialists who are available 24/7 would be happy to walk you through this. You could also stop by your local TD Store for assistance. For hours and locations near you, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. And as you mentioned that you haven't received any statements recently, we also advise you to review your address on file with a Representative once you call or visit. If this needs updating, they'll be glad to assist you at that time.
Once you’ve successfully enrolled for Online Banking, to enroll for paperless statements, please log in and follow the steps below:
-Please click on the “Customer Service” tab
-Select the “Online Statement Settings” link which is located under the self-service portion (it will be the sixth link down) or in the "Help & Related Tasks" box (which is located on the left side of the page).
-Please select the account(s) you would like to enroll for Online Statements. Make sure the email address on file is correct.
-You will then be asked to read the “Online (Paperless) Statement Customer Agreement” and the “Hardware and Software Requirements." Once you have opened and reviewed the 2 documents needed, please check mark the two boxes and select “Save Changes."
Please keep in mind, even if an account is enrolled for paperless statements, we will not email the actual statements to your email address directly. Instead, once your statement is generated, you will receive an email from TD Bank to simply notify you that you can go online to view or print your statements. We've also included the detailed instruction to guide you step by step as how to view and print your statements online after you log onto your account:
1. Click on the accounts link at the top of the screen
2. Click on the account number you would like to view statements on
3. Click on the “Statements” tab.
4. Choose the statement period you would like to view and click “View Statement”
5. You may then click the print icon if you would like to print a copy of your statement
Melissa, we hope this helps and have a great day!
