I don't feel comfortable transferring the amount of money from my checking account because my credit card was hacked recently I would like to certify my check. Do they still do this?

Good afternoon, Deborah!
While TD Store locations no longer certify personal checks, as a Customer, you would have the option of purchasing either a Money Order or a Certified Check at your local TD Store location to send to your mortgage company!
Should you wish to purchase a Money Order or a Certified Check, it's important to know the exact amount of your payment before your visit. While Money Orders are unable to exceed $1,000.00, Certified Checks may be purchased for any amount you need. If you do decided that you'll need to purchase a Certified Check, it's also important to know the name of your payee before you visit, as this will be needed when creating your Certified Check.
Depending on the account you currently hold with TD Bank, there may a fee for this service. We invite you to check out our Fee Schedule here: https://go.td.com/2lbbfGg for more information.
For your convenience, we have also provided a link here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to help you locate your nearest TD Store location.
If you have any questions or concerns about purchasing a Money Order or Certified Check, you're more than welcome to contact a TD Store location before your visit. You may also speak with a Banking Specialist at 1-888-751-9000, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We hope this helps, Deborah! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you, and we hope you have a great day.
