We appreciate you coming to TD Helps with your question, Dennis.
If you currently have a TD Bank Checking, Savings or Money Market account, you may visit a TD Bank Store location, during lobby hours to initiate an outgoing international wire transfer to any financial institution within or even outside the United States, including Chile. For hours and locations near you, please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and ABA (routing) number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number. As it is going to be an international wire, please also review additional information on sending international wires here: http://bit.ly/1oowsYN.
We utilize the services of correspondent and/or intermediary banks to transfer funds to banks overseas. These banks might charge a fee for their services, and the correspondent and/or intermediary bank might deduct these fees from the wire transfer amount. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender. For more information on fees for wire transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Lastly, please also reach out to the receiver in Chile to confirm if any other information is required by the bank in Chile to receive an international wire transfer.
We hope you find our answers helpful and please don’t hesitate to return to TD Helps if you have any further questions. Dennis, have a great day!
