Thank you for coming to TD Helps with your question, Vito.
If you have a joint account with your son, we're glad to inform you that you may make a transfer from your personal account to the joint account instantly. You may do so by stopping by a TD Bank location, calling us at 888-751-9000, or by using the account transfer option in your Online Banking profile.
If you do not share an account with your son, that is okay. We'd like to inform you that you may use our Person-to-Person Payments send funds to your son. Our Person-To-Person Payment feature, you will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. For more details on this feature, please check out: http://bit.ly/1cz3aim. We also invite you to visit: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our fee schedule as there are fees associated with this feature.
To begin, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are not enrolled, follow http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have a debit or ATM card, please call one of our 24/7 Specialists at 1-888-751-9000. After account verification, our dedicated Specialists would be happy to assist.
Once you have enrolled and have logged in, you may click on the tab at the top of the page titled "Person-to-Person Payments." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the Fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment!
When sending a transfer, you will have two delivery options, three day or next day delivery. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. Please note, fees may apply for the Transfer service.

If the amount you are looking to transfer exceeds the limit or if your son needs funds immediately, you can make a cash deposit into his TD Bank account with a bank Teller. Please note, you will need his account number to deposit funds into his account at a TD Store. Please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores to find the TD Bank location closest to you.
