Thanks for stopping by TD Helps, Gisel. We'll be happy to help you today!
If you have an account with TD Bank and the new credit card is a US credit card, there are few different options you have in setting up online payments to your card. You can enroll in our Bill Payment system via Online Banking. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If you have any trouble signing up, please contact our Digital Banking Specialists, 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
Once you are enrolled and logged into your account, click on the ''Bill Pay'' tab and then ''Manage Your Bills''. Add the requested information for the bill and then select Add an automatic payment from the "What would you like to do" list. All that's left is to fill out the required information and click "Set Up Payment" button. Please note that this payment method would process as a paper check to Visa.
A quicker option to pay your Visa bill would be linking your credit card to your checking account. Please check out: http://bit.ly/1mZCFef to access your credit card account Online. Follow the prompted steps and then you'll be able to access and manage your credit card. You may send a Secured Message requesting your credit card to be added to your Online Banking. Please sign into your account and click on the Customer Service tab and then select Send A Message.
Once your credit card is added to your Online Banking profile, please follow the steps below on how to set up automatic recurring transfers to your credit card.
1. Click on the “Transfer” tab at the top of your screen.
2. Fill in the blank fields and be sure to select the proper “TO” (your credit card) & “FROM” accounts.
3. Click on “Schedule Future Transfer.”
4. Select the date for which you wish the first transfer to be initiated.
5. Select the Frequency and choose how often.
6. Click on "Schedule Transfer"
7. Finally, click on “Complete Transfer.”
If you do not have a checking account with us or you are Canadian with a Canadian Visa card, it's okay! Since you are writing in from Toronto, our friends at TD Canada Trust may be able to offer some assistance as well. Check out: http://bit.ly/1rYH9Gk as this link could provide some useful information.
Let us know if you have any questions and have a good one!
