It sounds like you are attempting to complete an External transfer. Please be aware that international transfers are not able to be completed via your online profile. You would instead need to complete an International Wire transfer.
To send an outgoing international wire transfer, you may visit any TD Bank Store during lobby hours. For a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To send an international wire is you will need the full name, address (including City), State/Province, Country and account number of the person/business you are sending money to (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number). Also the full name and address, including City, State/Province and Country of the financial institution receiving the funds, plus of course the amount and currency of the transfer.
For more details on sending international wires please visit http://bit.ly/1oowsYN. When you are ready to send your international wire transfer, you will need to provide the foreign bank our SWIFT address, which is NRTHUS33XXX, as well as obtain their SWIFT address, which you can obtain by contacting the institution directly.
Keep in mind that wire transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.

Thank you for the reply and all this information. However I cannot call into a TD bank as I am in Ireland right now. How do I set up an international wire from where I am? Thanks

While it is a requirement to visit a TD location in order to initiate a wire transfer, we encourage you to contact us from Ireland by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518. Please note our Specialists are available 24/7 for your convenience and will be happy to discuss options available to you while you are out of the country.
You may also connect with your financial institution in Ireland for any alternative options that they may be able to provide.
