Thanks for writing in to us here on TD Helps and we appreciate your question regarding transfers.
If you'd like to transfer funds to your own account at another bank within the U.S., you have the option of using our External Transfers feature via your Online Banking account. You're welcome to send or receive money using this feature.
To begin using this service, if you are already enrolled for Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq to log in. If you're not yet enrolled, you can find our enrollment self-service link at: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to sign up. You'll need your account number, TD Visa Debit card/ATM number, your Social Security number and email address. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box and complete three steps. After those steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
After logging in to your account, please choose the "Transfers" tab. Then click on "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank" at the top. You will then be asked to accept a user agreement and review the fee schedule.
After the enrollment is completed, you can continue to schedule a transfer by adding your account at a different institution. To do so, select "Add a New Account." You will then be prompted to select the type of account followed by the account and routing numbers. Once you enter the required fields, the transfer service will then display whether or not you can make an immediate transfer. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated at the receiving institution for verification purposes. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1jXKYqq for more details.
When sending an External Transfer, you will have two delivery options, three-day or next-day delivery (business days). To qualify for the next-day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful three-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. I again tried to get into the part about fees and in your letter nor in the transfer to account section of on line banking can you tell what the problem is
