Welcome to TD Helps, Kathleen. We'd be glad to help you make a transfer to your son.
One of the great ways you'd be able to transfer funds to your son is via our Person-to-Person Payment Service.
If your son has a TD Bank Checking account and is currently enrolled for Online Banking, he will have the ability to request funds from other people by using this service. To start, he must first be logged into his online account. Next, he would then select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab and then select "Request Money." He would then fill out the required fields and select "Next." A confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to confirm the information is correct. Once it is confirmed, select "Send Request." The sender of the funds, in this case will be you, will then receive a text or an email with your son's request for funds. After your son completes his request for funds, the funds will take 2-3 business days to reach his account. Please note, that there may be fees for the use of this service. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If your son is not enrolled for Online Banking yet, he may start the enrollment process: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. He will need his Social Security number, account number, ATM/Debit Card number, and his e-mail address. If he has any trouble with the enrollment, please ask him to contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. If he prefers, he may also visit his local TD Bank Store for assistance.
You are also able to visit a TD Store to deposit directly into your son's account. Please know that you will need to know his account number. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Kathleen and have a good day.
