How Come TD bank tell us we can avoid maintenance fee if we maintain $100 minimum on the account, Yet I got charged the maintenance fee while it was above $100 and the only reason it went below is because of the maintenance fee that got charged. So tell me TD bank, what's your excuse?

Thanks for stopping by TD Helps this morning, Tom.
We'd like to take this time to inform you that the monthly maintenance fee is assessed anytime your account balance falls below your daily minimum balance during your statement period. The fee will show on up on the last day of your statement cycle.
From your inquiry, it sounds like you may have a Convenience Checking Account. For more information on our TD Convenience Checking, we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/18IVtY0. If this is not the account type you have and are unsure of what you have, it will be listed on your paper statements. If you do not have a paper statement handy, that's okay! You may view this information via your Online Banking.
If you have not enrolled yet, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your email address. If you need any assistance enrolling, please call 888-751-9000 to speak with one of our Banking Specialists who are available 24/7.
Once you've successfully enrolled and have logged on, please select the "Accounts" tab and select "Statements". Another window should open with your statement images where you can view your account type.
Please also understand that although we would like to assist you directly, we do not have access to your account information as TD Helps is considered an unsecured site.
We encourage you to contact our 24/7 Banking Specialists at the number listed above and we would be glad to review your account with you if you have any further questions. If you call and speak with one of our Banking Specialists, we'll also be more than happy to explain the cause of the fee and also offer some suggestions in order to avoid future maintenance fees.
As always, you can sit down with a Banking Specialist in person if you'd prefer at any TD Bank Store. Find the closest one here http://bit.ly/TDStores and step in during lobby hours to discuss.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you need anything else. Have a great day!
