that the transfer will be made from Washington DC. Do I still use the same routing # for transfers within the US? or should I provide my employer with the routing # on my check? Before I deployed I asked bank for wire transfer # and was provided with the above # believing that the transfer was coming from overseas. I have since learned that the wire transfer is coming from within the US. Not sure which routing # to use

Thanks for reaching out to us, here on TD Helps, John, and we hope all is well. You came to the right place for questions about wire transfers.
The ABA or routing number to use for an incoming wire is 0311-0126-6. If your employer is sending you money via a Domestic Wire Transfer then the information to provide them is still the same:
- Wire To: TD Bank Wilmington, Delaware
- ABA (Routing) Number: 031101266
- Credit To: Your Name (exactly as it appears on your account)
- Your account number
You can review our fee schedule here http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to confirm whether fees apply to your type of account for a Wire Transfer.
Please reach out to your employer to confirm whether they are actually sending you money via an ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfer. If so, then you should provide them with your individual routing number listed on your checks. This option is commonly used by employers for payroll direct deposits. More information about direct deposits can be found here: http://bit.ly/WBPCRW.
By identifying which method they are using we can ensure that the transfer can be processed correctly to your account.
If you have any further questions about Wire Transfers or ACH transfers please reach out to a Customer Service Representative 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this helps and have a great one!
