Thanks for making a stop at TD Helps, Jesse.
Although you may have been recently added as a joint signer on your mother's account, in order for you to sign check payments, your name must be listed on the checks. No worries, we have options for you.
You may wish to order new checks that also include your name. You may order checks by using the self-service feature via TD Online Banking. As you are a new signer, you would need to first be enrolled. Please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. You'll need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, Social Security number and your email address, and when you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s). Once this is complete, to begin your check order, please click on the "Customer Service" tab than under ''Self Service'' section click on ''Order Checks." Another window will pop up and you can begin your order.
If you need assistance enrolling or if you prefer to have a Specialist help you with your request, you may contact us directly for assistance. You may do so 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Once you reach a Specialist and after account verification, we will be happy to help.
If you prefer to speak with a Representative in person, please feel free to visit us during lobby hours at any TD Store. For Store hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Additionally, you'll be happy to know that you can use TD Bill Pay to schedule bills and keep track of your monthly expenses. TD Bill Pay can be used to make payments within the US with a US address. We suggest taking a look here: http://bit.ly/1iuOJVb for more detailed information on using Bill Pay and scheduling payments. For more details on the FAQs, please select the FAQs tab. And as a TD Bank Customer, you will have free online access which includes Online Banking, Bill Pay, and Mobile Banking!
After you log into your TD Online Banking from here: http://bit.ly/SMUhhl, please select the "Bill Pay" tab to begin. When you are making a bill payment through TD Bank Online Banking, the date you select is the delivery date of your payment. This date is when your biller can expect to receive the payment through an electronic funds transfer. In some cases we are not able to complete an electronic funds transfer so we print a check and mail it to your biller, in this case the date you selected is the date the check should be delivered. Any date that is in grey and cannot be selected, is a date that we cannot deliver on. By default all weekends and holidays will not be available for selection of delivery.
To ensure your payments are received on time, we recommend scheduling your payments to allow enough time for processing before the due date. Please note actual processing is determined by the biller. Bills paid electronically can be paid as soon as the next business day and will give you the option to choose the next business day on the calendar.
If you experience any difficulties setting up your Bill Payment, please feel free to connect with our Tech Support Specialists at 800-493-7562, option 3.
We hope this helps and hope you have a wonderful weekend, Jesse.
