Thank you for visiting TD Helps today, Samantha. We're sorry about any trouble you're having with your account and would like to point you in the right direction for assistance.
Please kindly keep in mind that on some of our accounts, there is a monthly maintenance fee and a minimum daily balance that we ask you to keep in order to avoid this fee. If your account falls below your required daily minimum balance, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of the statement cycle.
To learn more about our personal Checking accounts, take a look at: http://bit.ly/1s4rW4W. The minimum balance requirement can be located underneath each product type. You may find this link helpful: http://bit.ly/1hiXeSr. Also, you can review a full list of all Personal Account Maintenance Fees and compare our accounts here: http://bit.ly/1nldlQv.
As you mentioned that it is difficult for you to maintain the minimum daily balance, you may like to change your existing TD account to a different product type. To do so, you're welcome to call our Banking Specialists or send us a secure message via Online Banking. To connect with one of our Banking Specialists, you can call 888-751-9000 24/7 and upon verification, they will be able to assist you.
You may also send us a secure message for assistance by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center." When sending us the secure message, you're welcome to ask any questions about the fee or minimum balance, and if you would like to change your account type, please also be sure to provide us your account number and the account type you are requesting and we will be happy to process your request. If you have not enrolled, please call us 24/7 at the same number listed above to speak with our Banking Specialists.
As always, you can sit down with a Banking Specialist in person if you'd prefer at any TD Bank Store. Find the closest one here http://bit.ly/TDStores and step in during lobby hours to discuss.
We hope you find our answer helpful and please don't hesitate to return to TD Helps if you have any further questions.
