I was told by A TD Bank specialist that I had to close my account. I set up direct Deposit with my employer and was expecting a deposit, since my account is closed what will happened to my money?

Typically, if your account was closed and you were expecting a direct deposit to it, please note that TD Bank will return the funds to your sender within one business day of receiving them. We recommend allowing 2-3 business days for receipt at the originating bank. To determine the status of your funds, please contact your depositor to ensure they have received them, and to provide an alternate deposit option for them.
