But, they also charged me an additional 337.78, which is invalid.
they don't answer the phone today. I want to put a stop and cancel the charge for 337.78, and replenish that amount to my checking account.

When renting something, such as a vehicle or hotel room, it is not entirely uncommon for the merchant to put an additional hold on the debit card, beyond just the cost of the rental. This is generally held for incidentals such as damages or extended leases.
We'd be happy to take a look at this hold to see if we may release the funds. Please note that even if we are able to release the funds, the merchant may still be able to collect on the authorization. Should this occur, you may be able to file a dispute to recover funds.
