Thank you for your interest in banking with TD, William. We'd be glad to help!
In regards to your question, if the accounts you're planning on opening are going to be in your name, we recommend making the certified check payable to yourself. If the funds are going to be used to open business accounts, be sure to make the checks out to the business name.
We recommend taking a look at the accounts we offer. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account.
To view and compare savings account products, please visit http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Once you're ready to open your accounts, you are able to do so online by selecting "Open Account" beneath the product of your choosing, by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please know that regardless of the method you choose to open your accounts, you will need your Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's license, State ID, Passport etc.).
We hope to hear from you soon, William and have a good day!
