It is great to have you here with us on TD Helps, Dan.
If you are inquiring about ChexSystems because you may be interested in opening a new account with us, please note that TD Bank does use multi-factor verification during the account opening process.
If you'd like to open an account with us and have had a previous account reported to ChexSystems, we would recommend visiting a TD Bank Store during lobby hours to speak with a Store Representative and determine if you may be able to do so. Please see http://bit.ly/1f9DSJR to search for the convenient TD Bank Store locations near you.
If you prefer, you're also welcome to make use of our telephone and online options for opening an account. Please keep in mind that standard verification will be included in the new account opening process to determine if you qualify. If you'd prefer to open your account by phone, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives. Or, if you choose to open the account online, you may use the Open Account button at these links below to begin your application.
To review our current product offering and see what may suit you, we encourage you to take a look at our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd, or use our Checking Account Selector at http://bit.ly/KmmHe7. And our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1l6nLQ7, or use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF. When opening the account, using any method you'll just need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
On the other hand, we're aware that you may be inquiring about ChexSystems with regard to an account you may have with us. Please also note that in the event that an account you have becomes charged off, this information will be reported to ChexSystems and can affect your ability to open other banking accounts at TD Bank or with other financial institutions.
If you should have any questions or need assistance with an overdrawn or charged-off account that you had with TD Bank, you may reach our Recovery Department directly at 800-354-9769 between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 8 am to 5pm. We're also available whenever you need us at 888-751-9000, 24/7, or at any TD Bank Store here during our lobby hours.
Let us know if you have any other questions and have a nice day.
