That's a great question, Karen. It's always a good idea to plan ahead, especially when traveling!
Prior to your travels, we do ask that you place a travel notification on your account so you don't run into any interruptions with your card. To do so, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have a Banking Specialist place a travel notification on your account(s).
You also have the option of sending a Secure Message through your Online Banking. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, debit card number, Social Security number, and email address. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send a Message." If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight if applicable. If you need help enrolling, feel free to contact us a by telephone at the number listed above and after account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help.
If you prefer, you may also visit your local TD Bank, during lobby hours to have the travel notification placed for you. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find location and hours near you.
