Hey Kim, thanks for coming to TD Helps.
Although we do not partner with any other Financial Institution within or outside of the US, however; when traveling, you can make an ATM withdrawal from any ATM machine that displays the VISA or PLUS logo. Please note; fees may apply when using a non-TD ATM. We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your ATM debit card out of the country. If you're unable to find an ATM that is compatible, with the TD Bank Debit Card, it may be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance.
To avoid any interruptions to your TD Debit Card usage while you're in Australia and New Zealand, we recommend placing Travel Notifications on your accounts. If you have not already done so, you can by calling our Customer Service Line at 888-751-9000. If you're setup for online banking, another option would be to send a secure message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secure message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. You are always welcome to stop by your local TD Bank Store during normal lobby hours to set up your travel notification. You can also visit us during lobby hours for help with this request. Please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for help locating a TD Store near you.
By placing a travel notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on your account. Also, please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. You may also want to review our international travel tips frequently asked questions by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1ltwDDc .
If you have any questions while you are traveling internationally, you can reach us at (856)-751-9000. Additionally, you can call collect from a landline at (215)-569-0518.
We hope this helps, Kim. We hope you have a safe trip and have a wonderful weekend!
