Welcome to TD Helps, Regina! We are more than happy to answer your question in regards to traveling abroad. We are pleased to let you know that TD Bank does not charge any foreign transactions fees for retail purchases made with your TD Bank Visa debit card. We'd like to let you know, you can use your TD Bank Visa Debit Card worldwide, anywhere VISA is accepted. You can also use your debit card to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM Machine that displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. Please note, ATM fees may apply; we encourage you to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your debit card out of the country. Prior to your travels, we do ask that you place a travel notification on your account before you leave the country so you don't run into any interruptions with your card. To do so, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have a Customer Service Representative place a travel notification on your account(s). You may also send a Secured Message through Online Banking as well. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY.
