Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Monica. You can place a travel notification on your account with us in different ways, and we'd be happy to help you do so before you get on your way!
It is always a good idea to place Travel Notifications on your accounts before you leave on a trip to avoid any interruptions to your TD Debit Card usage. To place a travel notification, you can call our Customer Service Line 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting your local TD Bank Store. For a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours check http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are setup for Online Banking, another option would be to send a secure message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side of the page, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. Please include your travel destination(s) and travel dates.
If you are not enrolled for Online Banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, his account number, and his e-mail address. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will have immediate access to your account(s). If you need assistance, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7, also at the number listed above.
We hope this helps, Monica, and have a great trip.
