Welcome to TD Helps, Valentina! We're happy that you'd like to refer a friend to TD and we'd be happy to help.
We offer a variety of Checking and Savings accounts that your friend is more than welcome to review. To view and compare our Checking Accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a Checking Account that is the best fit you. To view and compare Savings Account products, click on http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best Savings Account for your needs.
Once your friend has decided on the type of account they'd like to open, they can start the application online by clicking on "Apply" beneath the account of their choosing. Your friend my also call us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit a TD Store during lobby hours to complete the account opening process. For Store hours and locations nearby, please have your friend take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Keep in mind that no matter how your friend would like to open their new account(s), there are two forms of identification that we will need to process their information. If they are a U.S. citizen, we'll need their Social Security Number and a form of photo identification (Driver's License, Passport, state-issued ID, etc.). If they're a non-U.S. citizen, then we'll need your Passport and another secondary form of ID (Driver's License, Nexus Card, Residence Card, etc.). Please let your friend know to have these IDs available when you open your new account.
As you've mentioned that you'd like to refer your friend to TD, we sometimes offer promotions for referrals. We recommend contacting the TD Store your friend plans on visiting to see if any benefits are being offered.
We hope this helps your friend, Valentina and have a good afternoon.
