Washington. I was advised I would need to send a letter to close the account and have the funds on deposit sent to me via check. I do not see an address on your website as to where I should send this letter. Please advise. Thank you. Phyllis

We're sorry to hear that you'd like to close your account, Phyllis. We understand that banking needs change and we'd be glad to help you with this process.
As you mention that there are funds remaining in your account, you are able to send a letter to the TD Store in which you opened your account (Home Store) to request your account be closed. Please mail your written, signed, and notarized request to:
TD Bank, N.A.
(Home Store Address)
(Home Branch Telephone Number)
Please be sure to provide your account number so we may issue you a check for the remaining funds in your account as well as your final statement. If you are unsure of your Home Store's details such as phone number or address, please visit here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you would like to discuss your account with a Banking Specialist, feel free to contact our Cross Border Banking Specialists 24/7 at 877-700-2913.
We hope this helps, Phyllis and have a good day.
