I wish to open a saving account. I just move to Florida a couple of weeks ago. I have a check from my previous bank in Puerto Rico. Can I deposit this check on a saving account?

We appreciate your interest in opening a savings account with us.
First, we recommend viewing the type of Savings account that we currently offer. You are able to check out: https://go.td.com/2dIcnAw to view our Savings accounts.
If you need some help determining the right account for you, we recommend checking out our Account Selector here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E for a custom recommendation.
Once you're ready to open an account, you are able to do so online by selecting 'Open Account,' by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Once you found the right account for you, both of you and your parent or guardian will need to provide a valid form of identification such as Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc. and Social Security Number.
You may certainly deposit your check from your previous financial institution into your new savings account.
We look forward to your visit, Jose!
Have a wonderful and Happy New Year!
