Thank you for joining us here at TD Helps, Rhodel.
Generally, in order to add a joint account signer to an existing TD Bank deposit account, such as Checking, Savings or Money Market account, both parties must visit a TD Bank Store together. Please make sure both parties, including you, bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
As you mentioned that your husband is not living in the United States, we recommend reaching out to your local TD Bank Store or the TD Bank Store location where your account was originally opened directly to determine if there is another option to add him to your account without him being present. To find out TD Store locations and telephone numbers near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you have a TD Visa credit card and would like to add your husband to your credit card as an authorized user, please feel free to reach out to TD Card Services 24/7 at 888-561-8861, they'll be more than happy to assist you with this request.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
