I want to change my checking account

Good morning, Carla, and welcome to TD Helps!
It sounds as though you'd like to switch your TD Convenience Checking account to a Simple Checking account. If this is the case, we'll be more than happy to connect you with one of our knowledgeable Specialists so that they may assist you with doing so!
Before we begin, we'd first like to provide you with some more information in regard to the features and benefits that come with a Simple Checking account, and to learn more, you're welcome to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2nihmNh.
When you're ready to change your account type, you have a couple different ways in which you're able to connect with us. We apologize that we're unable to assist you directly via TD Helps; however, we'll still be happy to provide you with all your options so that you may choose the one that is most convenient for you.
First, you're welcome to dial 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You would also have the option of visiting a TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. If you're unable to call or visit a Store location, we completely understand, and would like to recommend that you then send us a secure message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
Should you wish to send us a secure message to make your request, we ask that you please include your full account number, as well as the account type you would like to switch to as this information will be needed to successfully proceed with your request. Once your request has been completed, the change should reflect within 2-3 business days.
