Thanks for bringing your question to TD Helps this afternoon, Danica!
It's great to hear that you're interested in obtaining a TD Go Card for your teen, and we'll be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
TD Bank's TD Go Card is a prepaid card that will give your teen the freedom to make purchases online, in person, over the phone, or even through their smart phone, and it will give parents, such as yourself, the reassurance that comes with setting boundaries on your teens spending, as well as monitoring their transactions along with them.
While TD Go Cards are printed to include the name of the teen, the parent or guardian who purchases the card will be known as the 'Account Owner', while the teen will be known as the 'Cardholder.' If you'd like to learn more about the great features and benefits that come with the TD Go Card, you can check out the link here: https://go.td.com/1KagPjr. We've also provided a link here: https://go.td.com/1gRpCay that includes FAQs for this card type.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to connect with a TD Go Card Specialist at 1-855-219-8050, or by visiting your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this answered all your questions, Danica!
Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.
