Welcome to TD Helps, Linda. We're happy to answer any of your questions.
Currently, our Young Savers account offers the passbook option. For more information on this account type please view: http://bit.ly/1cDNIR3. If you're interested in opening a Young Savers account, please visit a TD Bank location for assistance. For Store hours please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We understand that it can be difficult to remember your account number from time to time. In most cases, it won't be necessary to always know your account number. For instance, if you call in for assistance, we can access your information with either your ATM/debit card number or Social Security number and after account verification, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your account. Also, when you stop by a TD location, a Representative can bring up your account information, after you're verified by photo ID. If you're worried about filling in the information on the deposit ticket, surely the Teller will have no problem writing that part in for you!
If you find yourself in a situation where it is required to obtain your account number, have no fear, we have options available to access that information as well. If you're at a TD Store location, a Representative will be more than happy to provide it to you, once you're verified. You may also find your account number by looking at the paper statements; it is located at the right top corner of the page. If you have any checks with you, the account number would be the second set of numbers located at the bottom of the check. Please check out this link for more information http://bit.ly/1qH2i2K.
Your account number will also be available via your Online Banking. Even though the account number is needed to use the self-service feature via www.tdbank.com to enroll for Online Banking, we are happy to say, there are other ways you can enroll. You can contact us directly at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with one of our Digital Specialists 24/7. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help! You may also visit a TD location for help setting up your Online Banking. Please note, for the security of your account we are unable to provide account numbers over the telephone or via email.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, Linda and have a great day.
