There are several ways to open an account; via Online, via phone or at your local TD Bank. Once you decide on the type of account that you would like to open, please visit our web site at www.tdbank.com, select the account type, click "Open Account" and follow the prompts. You may also contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have one of our Banking Specialists open an account for you. Another option would be visiting your local TD Bank during lobby hours. To find a TD Bank near you, visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores . You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
If you are a Non-US resident and do not have SSN at this present time, you will need to bring two forms of identification with you and stop by your local TD Bank store during our lobby hours to set up your new account. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
