Welcome to TD Helps, Briana! We’d be happy to discuss your question with you.
If you are expecting a payment/transfer from someone via Popmoney, typically you’ll be alerted of the payment via text message or email, depending on how the funds were sent to you. If you haven't received this message yet and it was sent via email, we'd recommend checking your spam or junk mail folder to see if it was sent there. If you still can't locate it, the sender can contact one of our dedicated Specialists directly at 800-493-7562, 24/7 to have the email or text sent to you another time.
Please keep in mind that these types of payments expire 10 days after it was sent, so be sure to accept the funds as soon as possible.
If you are expecting a different type of transfer, right now TD Bank offers email alerts for your account that can be set up via Online Banking. One of the alerts you can set up is a balance alert. Although we don't offer specific transaction or transfer alerts at this time, you'll be able to select a high- or low-balance amount and when that threshold is met, you'll receive an email from us.
You can view more information on how to set these alerts by logging into your Online Banking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and clicking the “Alerts” tab. After clicking the alerts tab you will then choose "Set up a new alert." Online banking will then ask you to specify what type of alert you are creating and once you do, please select "Continue." You will then be asked to select the account you'd like the alert for, the type of alert and the dollar amount of your alert. By selecting "Finish," your alert will be saved.
If you have any troubles setting up your alerts, you can contact our Tech Support Specialists directly 24/7 at the number mentioned above. They would be more than happy to walk you through the process.
We hope this helps you today, Briana! Thanks again for your question, take care.
