joint account is to present some sort of a photo ID but she doesn't have any US photo ID except her passport (native). Let me know if her native passport id will work or not in order for us to open a joint account?

We would like to thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Mohammad. We appreciate your interest in starting an account with us!
We would like to take this opportunity to advise you that TD Bank remains committed to maintaining a high level of Customer satisfaction. To view and compare our personal Checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a Checking account that is the best fit you.
Once you've decided on the Checking account type that best suits your needs, you can open a joint Checking account together with your wife by visiting any TD Bank Store location near you during lobby hours. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find TD Bank near you. Please make sure both parties, including you, bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
Since you mention your wife is a Non-US resident and may not have a SSN at this present time, she will need to bring two forms of identification with her when you both visit a local TD Bank Store during our lobby hours to set up the new account. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID she may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
Thanks again for choosing TD Bank for your banking needs. We hope this helps. Have a great holiday!
