Thank you for visiting us on TD Helps, Sara! We're glad that you are interested in opening an account with us and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Before we begin, we invite you to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM ;which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you decide on the account or accounts that you'd like to open, there are a few ways to open them. You may open the account(s) online by visiting www.tdbank.com, selecting the accounts that you'd like to open, clicking "Open Account" and following the prompts. You can call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and one of our Banking Specialists can open the account for you in minutes! You may also visit any TD Bank location during lobby hours as well. Please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
Please note that your funds would become immediately available if you decide to deposit cash. After the first 30 days, check deposits would become available after one business day with the $100.00 available immediately in most cases. Please click here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (Pg. 38-41) for cases when funds may not become fully available right away.
We hope this helps answer your question, Sara and enjoy the rest of your day!
