Thanks for reaching out to TD Helps, Veronica! It's great that you would like to open a savings account for your daughter. We'll be happy to help answer any questions you may have about our savings accounts.
It's never too early to teach anyone about saving and here at TD Bank, we offer an account specifically for minors where the monthly maintenance fee is waived until they turn 18 years of age; as long as the minor is the Primary on the account. The TD Young Savers account is designed to help young people learn the value of saving. An ATM card can be obtained for this account type as well. Please click: http://bit.ly/SavingsCmpre for more information our Savings accounts. Please keep in mind that you will need to provide a valid form of identity such as a State License, State ID or Passport. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card. Since your daughter needs to present proof of ID , the account can only be opened at a TD Bank location. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
Let us know if you have any questions and enjoy the rest of your day, Veronica!
