I have just started a Nevada LLC authorized to do business in NY. There will eventually be 2 signers on the account, but one of them is unavailable for 3 weeks and cannot come in to a TD branch to open an account. The LLC has been paid for services already and I'd like to be able to open an account to deposit the check. Can I open the account listing myself as the only signer and then come in and change it in a few weeks when the second signer is in town?

Good afternoon, Aaron. Welcome to TD Helps!
It's great to hear that you're interested in joining the TD Family, and we'll be happy to clear up any confusion.
Before we begin, we'd like to inform you that here at TD Bank, we offer several types of Business Checking Accounts, and would like to share them with you. To view the different types of Business Checking Accounts that we offer, visit: https://go.td.com/1lWgAhe. In addition to using this link, we also have a Business Selector Tool, which can be found here: https://go.td.com/2qddtcK. This will help by making a personalized recommendation for you, based on your needs.
If you need assistance while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist may be reached at 1-800-493-7562, option 2. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience, and will be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. In addition to calling, you may also schedule an appointment with a Small Business Banking Specialist, which can be completed by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1z4dclm.
Once you've decided on the best account for you, you may open your Business account at any TD Bank location, during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Please note, if you wish to add more than one signer to your Business account, and not all signers can be present during the initial account opening process, the account can still be opened; however, any missing signers will not have access to the account until they have physically stepped into a TD Bank Store.
To add additional signers to the account at a different time, every signer present at the time of the opening must also be present when adding another person to the account.
Please be sure that each signer will have a valid photo I. D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc) as well as their Social Security number present during the account opening process, and if any additional singers need to be added.
Also, please be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for the business to the TD Store as well. Additional documents are needed to open the LLC, such as the documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. You will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
If you have any additional questions, we recommend that you reach out to the Store location you plan on visiting to open your account. Feel free to use the link provided above to locate the contact information for the Store location of your choosing.
We hope this clears up any confusion, Aaron. Have a great Tuesday!
