Hi. I was an exchange student in MA two years ago I had created a student account at your bank. I just received a letter, that informs me I have reached 24y and my account will be charged 15$/month fee. I'd therefore like to terminate my account. What action is required from me. I live in Slovakia and I'd like to avoid paying this fee. Sincerely, Maros

Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Maros.
Sounds like you had a TD Student Checking and you recently turned 24, please keep in mind that student benefits expire after 5 years or on a student’s 24th birthday, whichever comes first. At that time, the account will automatically convert to a TD Convenience Checking account. However, the maintenance fee will still be waived if you can maintain a daily minimum of $100.00.
