I opened my account last year, but I am outside of the US, and have no idea when I will go back to the US next time. It was unexpected, so my account is still opened and I have money there.
First of all, I need to take all the amount from my bank, from outside of the US.
Second, I also need to close my account, right?
I know there are similar questions before, but I just would like to have the most-updated information.
Thank you for taking time to answer.

Thank you for connecting with us on TD Helps all the way from Japan, Yume.
As you wish to close your TD Bank account and withdraw all the remaining funds, an easy way to do so is via mailed written request. You may request to close your account and have any available money in your account be sent to you by check. You can mail a request with the following instructions:
▪Your account number(s)
▪Your request to close the account(s)
▪Your current address
For your security, please have the letter notarized. It can then be mailed to:
TD Bank, N.A
Your Home Store's Address
Your Home Store telephone Number
If you are unsure of which Store is your Home Store ( the Store location where your account was opened at), take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores for our Store locations.
If you need to speak with us directly while in Japan, please contact us via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
Thanks again for writing in, Yume. Take care!

Thank you so much for answering so soon! Your response was really helpful!
I will make the process as soon as possible.
I am sorry that I will not be able to stay as TD customer. If I ever come back to the US next time, I'd be happy to go back to TD! Thank you for everything.
