We recommend having your Payee reach out to their banking institution directly to determine the exact cause of the delay, as there are multiple reasons which can cause a check deposit being held by their financial institution. They may also want to refer to their institution's Deposit Availability Policy to confirm when funds should be released to them.
For additional help, we suggest visiting any TD Bank Store location in your area and speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. Once you're there, they may confirm the status of this check for you upon proper account verification.
