I am moving to Canada for good. Can you tell me what the process would be to transfer my fund in USD into CAD. How do I initiate this process?

Here at TD Bank, we offer Cross Border Banking service for all personal accounts. You can transfer funds between your TD Bank US and TD Canada Trust personal accounts free of charge. If you wish to, please feel free to speak with a Representative from our TD Cross Border Banking Support Line 24/7 at 877-700-2913. With this feature, you are able to do your banking without having to visit a TD Store!
To do this online, you're more than welcome to submit the transfer via EasyWeb. You may also submit this request in person by visiting a TD Bank US location or a TD Canada Trust location whichever it convenient to you. To find out TD Bank US locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. To find out TD Bank Canada Trust locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/HqySjY. You're fully able to make your Cross Border Banking transfer either online, or over the phone. Limits for these transfers in include Online Transfers up to $2,500, and phone transfers up to $100,000.
Transfers made between your own accounts between TD Canada Trust and TD Bank are available the same business day if initiated before 2pm E.T. If the transfer is after 2pm, the funds will be available the next business day. You may check your account balance via online banking to ensure the availability of the funds as well.
